See below for more information on the high school application process.  8th graders interested in applying to these high schools should do their research on what is needed for each application as each school has their own process.  In the months of September and October, it is helpful for students to attend open houses and Freshman for a Day programs to help them narrow down their choices and come up with an application plan.  Information will be updated here as it becomes available.

High School Expo Nights are a great way to see multiple schools at one event, which can help students narrow down their choices for where they would like to visit and apply. 

• Friday, September 19, 2025: COOP/HSPT Registration Information Worksheet and $70.00 payment DUE in school
  • All 8th graders must submit this form and payment in order to be registered to take the HSPT at AOLG on Friday, November 7, 2025.  Registration for the students will be done by the school ONLY.  Please send payment in via a check made out to AOLG.  A copy of the form is linked here: COOP/HSPT Registration Information Worksheet

• Friday, October 31, 2025: Ninth Grade Applicant Record Form DUE in school
  • Parents are requested to complete the Permission for Release of Records section, the Student Information section, and the High School Choice section of this form before submitting it (front of form only). Please take extra care in making sure all information is recorded neatly and accurately prior to submitting the form to avoid delays. • Only catholic schools that participate in the Cooperative Admissions Program (COOP) may be included on the Ninth Grade Applicant Record Form (student may choose up to three participating schools to have their scores and transcripts automatically sent to): List of COOP Participating High Schools

• Friday, November 7, 2025: COOP/HSPT Exam administered
  • HSPT results for students testing through the Cooperative Admissions Program will be shared directly with the three COOP-participating schools that were listed on the Ninth Grade Applicant Record.
    
    
  • If you would like to apply to an additional COOP-participating school that you did not list on the Ninth Grade Applicant Record, please view the instructions for getting HSPT scores and transcripts sent to this school: Sending Reports to an Additional COOP-participating High SchooL
    
    
  • Parents of students who take the HSPT as part of the Cooperative Admissions Program in November will receive a HSPT Student Score Report by January 12, 2026.  Score reports will not be available for any reason prior to that date.  Parents may share the score reports with schools that do not participate in the Cooperative Admissions Program once they receive the report.
     
    
• Early December: Individual High School Admissions Application deadline  
  • Parents should be sure to visit the website of each high school that your child is applying to in order to view the individual application requirements of each school and due dates for the application.
    
    
  • Some schools require recommendations and/or personal essays to be written.  It is the responsibility of the students and parents to contact teachers for recommendations and ensure that the proper information is submitted to each school by the due date.  Be advised that teachers have a separate deadline for submitting recommendations that differs from the application deadline.
    
    
  • The school will mail transcripts to the schools listed on your child's Ninth Grade Applicant Record form by December 9, 2025.  Ensuring that the form is completed properly, will prevent any delays in your child's form being processed.  If your child applies to any additional Catholic High Schools, it is your responsibility to contact the high school as well as the school to have records released properly to that school.

  • Students must commit to a major when applying to HCST.  Please use the link above to do research on the various majors offered.  Some majors require an audition in addition to the application.

• For the school counselor, please list Nicole Ruiz (ruiz@aolgfairview.org).  She will be submitting the transcripts online for HCST.

• One application is submitted for both High Tech and County Prep. School placement is determined based on acceptance and the major that the student selects.
• October 5th, 2025: Open House (2 Sessions)
