11/17/25: Reading  Order of Events

​Hi second graders! I'm so excited to start the new year with you. We are going to learn, explore, and have lots of fun together. I can't wait to ​see all of the amazing things you'll do!

HOMEWORK WILL BE ASSIGNED DAILY MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY WITH SOME EXCEPTIONS DUE TO HOLIDAYS AND NO HW DAYS, ETC., REVIEW DATE FOR CORRECT ASSIGNMENTS.

Please email me with any homework questions. Homework is for reinforcement as all the learning is done in class only and shouldn't take much time, as I value a strong school-family balance. Although most learning takes place in class, there will be occasions when students receive assignments to reinforce the skills they are developing and help them gain mastery. The volume of homework will be assigned accordingly, based on the needs of each unit or skill.
